Dragon Fruit

Dragon fruit has a lightly sweet flavor and is full of fiber and vitamins. Here's how to serve it fresh.

  1. Slice the fruit in half. You should cut all the way through so that the halves separate to reveal a white or pink flesh in the middle.

  2. Use a large spoon to scoop the fleshy part out, leaving the skin intact.

  3. Cut off any bits of the skin you may have missed.

  4. Chop into small pieces, such as cubes or wedges. The seeds are edible, but the skin is not.

  1. I'll have to give this a shot now. I'm always so afraid of these at the market.
