Dragon fruit has a lightly sweet flavor and is full of fiber and vitamins. Here's how to serve it fresh.
- Slice the fruit in half. You should cut all the way through so that the halves separate to reveal a white or pink flesh in the middle.
- Use a large spoon to scoop the fleshy part out, leaving the skin intact.
- Cut off any bits of the skin you may have missed.
- Chop into small pieces, such as cubes or wedges. The seeds are edible, but the skin is not.
I'll have to give this a shot now. I'm always so afraid of these at the market.
